Artist's Note: The image to the left does not reflect the presence this painting has. The darker browns at the top are a semi-transparent brown, the lighter tan underneath seeming to luminesce from underneath. The 3D of thicker applications of paint around the body at the head, torso, and leg also can't be seen, but which give the physical painting added depth and interest.
